Introducing
GlomCon Europe 2026
GlomCon Europe 2026 marks the next exciting chapter in our global learning journey: a two-day hybrid event dedicated to fostering global collaboration in glomerular disease education and research. Join us April 16-17, 2026, at the elegant Altis Grand Hotel, in Lisbon, Portugal, for a dynamic gathering of clinicians, scientists, and educators from around the world.

ERA‘s endorsement is for the promotion of education in general, therefore the specific content of the event/course is the responsibility of the organiser.
Why GlomCon Europe?
GlomCon’s mission is to deliver world-class nephrology education grounded in evidence and free of commercial or ideological bias.
GlomCon Europe is more than a conference; it's a gathering of ideas, expertise, and shared purpose across borders. As kidney care continues to evolve, global collaboration has never been more essential. GlomCon Europe brings together an international community of nephrologists, pathologists, and researchers to learn from one another and align on the future of care.
Lisbon is historically known as a gateway between continents, and perfectly embodies this spirit of connection. Strategically located at the crossroads of Europe, Africa, and the Americas, Lisbon offers an ideal setting to strengthen international partnerships, exchange knowledge, and foster unified progress in the field of glomerular diseases.
Together, we’ll shape a more connected, innovative, and patient-centered future in glomerular disease care.
What to Expect?
GlomCon Europe 2026 brings together leading voices in nephrology for a highly interactive, clinically relevant program. The agenda features:
-
Keynote address on the future of global collaboration in kidney health
-
Expert-led lectures on glomerular pathology, podocytopathies, C3G, ANCA vasculitis, and more
-
Panel discussions on emerging therapies and diagnostic innovations
-
Special focus sessions on glomerular disease in older adults, pregnancy, cancer and immunossupression risks
Hybrid Format

While we’re excited to welcome many attendees to Lisbon, we’re also committed to maintaining broad accessibility through a robust virtual experience. All main sessions will be streamed live, ensuring that participants worldwide can engage with the content and community.
Satellite Symposia
Four industry-sponsored satellite symposia are integrated across both days to offer additional learning opportunities on the latest in clinical trials and therapeutic strategies in glomerular diseases.
Join the Global Nephrology Community
Set against the backdrop of Lisbon’s rich history and vibrant culture, GlomCon Europe 2026 promises an inspiring blend of scientific learning and networking. This conference will provide professional growth and meaningful collaboration.
Abstract Submission
We are pleased accept abstract submissions for GlomCon Europe. This is a unique opportunity for researchers, clinicians, and trainees to showcase their work in the field of glomerular diseases and nephrology.
The five best abstracts will be selected by the Educational Committee for oral presentation in a dedicated session during the conference. This session will highlight innovative research, original ideas, and impactful contributions to the advancement of nephrology.
