GlomCon Hawaii 2025 Travel Scholarship
The GlomCon Travel Scholarship is designed to support meeting attendees from low- to middle-income countries by providing financial assistance for travel and accommodation to attend GlomCon Hawaii 2025, taking place September 22–25, 2025, at The Ritz-Carlton, O'ahu, Turtle Bay.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for a travel scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Be a current or past GlomCon Fellow, GlomCon ILA Fellow, KPCP participant, or CEPR participant.

Reside and work in a low- or middle-income country as defined by the World Bank.

Demonstrate a strong interest in glomerular disease research, education, or clinical practice.

Commit to attending the full duration of the conference.
Scholarship Benefits
Each selected recipient will receive:

Reimbursement for an economy-class round-trip flight to O’ahu, Hawaii.

Coverage for up to 4 nights in the designated conference hotel (The Ritz-Carlton, O’ahu, Turtle Bay).
Application Process
There are two ways to apply. Please choose one:

The selection committee will review applications based on merit, impact, and financial need.

Up to six (6) scholarships will be awarded.

Reimbursement Process

Scholarship recipients must book their own economy-class flight, then submit receipts for reimbursement after the conference.

GlomCon will work with scholarship recipients to secure a hotel room. Any stay beyond 4 nights will be the responsibility of the traveler.

Reimbursement will be processed upon completion of attendance and participation requirements.

Detailed instructions for reimbursement submission will be provided upon selection.
